Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Decorate a pumpkin as a book or movie character and drop it at the library between October 1 and October 23, during library hours. Open to all ages, one entry per person or per team or family; real or plastic pumpkins or gourds, decorated on the outside only (no carving, and no store-bought pre-decorated pumpkins), and family friendly.
Public and staff voting starts October 26, winners are announced at noon on Friday, October 30, and the prizes are Amazon gift cards of $25, $10 and $10. Pumpkins must be collected by 4 pm on Friday, November 6 or they are discarded. The library’s contest page lists no entry fee.
